Portage Point Partners, a blue chip advisory, consulting, interim management, investment banking and financial services firm focused on the middle market, welcomes Steven Wlodychak as Managing Director to the Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) practice.
Steve brings deep SALT expertise across complex mergers and acquisitions (M&A), having advised on more than 900 transactions spanning all 50 states. His clients include major companies and private equity firms such as The Carlyle Group, Thoma Bravo, Hellman & Friedman, Clayton, Dublier & Rice, Kelso & Company, Ares Management, Apollo Global Management, Warburg Pincus, Brookfield Corporation and The Yucaipa Companies.

Prior to Portage Point, Steve was a Principal in Ernst & Young’s National Indirect Transaction Tax Practice. While at EY, Steve served as EY’s SALT Policy leader. In addition to his role with Portage Point, Steve is a Professor of Practice at Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law Graduate Tax Program and a contributing writer for Tax Analysts.
