Parker Jones
Senior Vice President
Parker Jones is a Senior Vice President at Portage Point Partners, based in the New York office. In this role, Parker partners with management teams and sponsors across industries to drive sustainable value creation at every stage of the investment lifecycle.
Parker’s core area of focus is helping private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies convert transaction theses into realized results by identifying and pressure-testing value creation initiatives, building the Day 1 and 100-day roadmap and standing up the operating cadence required to capture synergies. His work spans both buy- and sell-side transactions, where he leads the execution of carve-outs, divestitures, integrations and standalone performance improvement programs.
Prior to joining Portage Point, Parker was a Senior Vice President in the M&A and Transaction Advisory practice at AlixPartners where he led rapid value creation and growth initiatives for private equity clients and Fortune 200 corporates across a variety of industries. Specifically, he focused on highly complex M&A integration and separation programs, operating model transformations and value creation execution.
Earlier in his career, Parker was a Consultant in Deloitte’s Strategy and Transactions practice, where he focused on Day 1 planning and program management for multi-billion-dollar transactions.
Parker earned a Juris Doctor from Wake Forest University School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from North Carolina State University, where he graduated summa cum laude.
