The article notes provisions in the bill that would strengthen the tax advances of being a so-called “pass-through” entity. Matt adds, “…if the bill passes, [middle market companies] would have a strong incentive to either maintain their current pass-through structure or, for some C-corporations, to re-evaluate whether converting to a pass-through entity would now offer greater tax efficiency.”
