Steven currently serves as a Senior Director where he provides financial, operational and strategic advice to companies during periods of transition, underperformance, or distress. His professional experience includes private equity investing, financial and operational advisory services to both public and private companies, mergers & acquisitions and strategic growth initiatives

Steven is currently responsible for the day-to-day leadership of JMB Shipping with a primary focus on vessel strategy, charterer relations and commercial opportunities and recently served as Deputy Chief Restructuring Officer (“CRO”) of Bouchard Transportation, leading the day-to-day operations and commercial efforts at the Company. In this role, Steven designed and executed on revenue and cost saving initiatives that drove ~$35 million of total annualized benefit to the Company within 30 days of CRO appointment

Prior to joining Portage Point, Steven was a Vice President at Periphas Capital, an associate at The Carlyle Group in its middle market private equity fund, and an analyst at Moelis & Company focused on mergers & acquisitions and restructuring. Steven has extensive experience across the Business and Industrial Services, Consumer & Retail, eCommerce, Entertainment, Healthcare, Hospitality, Industrials and Technology industries

Steven graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelors of Science in Business & Management (concentration in Finance) from the Sy Syms School of Business at Yeshiva University
