Shafali currently serves as an Associate where she is responsible for conducting financial and operational analysis, developing key performance indicators, supporting value creation initiatives, constructing 13-week cash flows, analyzing working capital assessments and assisting in the overall implementation of value maximization strategies.

Prior to joining Portage Point, Shafali was an Investment Banking Analyst in the Healthcare Mergers & Acquisitions (“M&A”) group at Cain Brothers where she provided M&A advisory services to corporate clients, health systems and financial sponsors across healthcare verticals. While at Cain Brothers, Shafali constructed operating models and performed valuations, including DCFs, LBOs and trading / transaction comparables and identified strategic alternatives for small to mid-sized healthcare firms across multiple sub-verticals.

Shafali graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration from The University of Texas at Austin where she majored in Finance. Shafali holds her Series 63 and 79.
