Zack Pollak is a Director in the Performance Improvement practice at Portage Point Partners based in New York. Zack has extensive experience partnering with management teams and private equity (PE) sponsors to develop strategic roadmaps, drive business transformations and deliver sustainable EBITDA growth.
Zack leads cross-functional teams throughout the investment lifecycle, from pre-sign diligence through post-close value capture. His experience spans enterprise-wide transformations, operational and commercial diligence, synergy assessments and carveouts in buy- and sell-side environments. He focuses on cost optimization, revenue growth and organizational effectiveness to streamline processes and improve efficiency across the front and back office to achieve measurable EBITDA impact. Zack combines analytical depth with a hands-on approach to designing and executing value creation programs that generate significant savings and synergies.
Prior to joining Portage Point, Zack was a Director in KPMG’s Strategy practice, where he advised PE and corporate clients on large-scale transformations and complex transactions. Earlier in his career, he was a Vice President at AlixPartners, where he worked on performance improvement, turnaround and restructuring and litigation data analytics engagements.
Zack holds a Bachelor of Science in Statistics from the University of Michigan.
