Yernar Kades

Yernar (“Erik”) Kades currently serves as a Senior Vice President at Portage Point Partners in the firm’s New York office. Erik is responsible for developing 13-week cash flows, business plans, leading liquidity management efforts, conducting working capital assessments, financial and operational analysis, supporting value creation initiatives and assisting in the overall implementation of value maximization solutions. His experience includes serving clients in retail, e-commerce, transportation and infrastructure sectors. He has advised clients in both in-court and out-of-court situations.

Prior to joining Portage Point, Erik was a Senior Vice President in the Turnaround and Restructuring Services Group at AlixPartners where he was a financial advisor to public and PE-owned companies. Prior to AlixPartners, he was a Senior Analyst in VTB Bank’s lending department.

Erik holds a Master of Business Administration from the Wharton School and an undergraduate degree in economics from Moscow State University.
