Vishu Gupta

Vishu Gupta is a Senior Associate in the AI Solutions team at Portage Point Partners in the Gurugram office, where he focuses on Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI), large language model (LLM) agents, agentic systems and scalable backend architecture. 

Vishu specializes in designing and delivering production-ready AI solutions, including LLM-powered agents, multi-agent orchestration, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines and custom Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers. He has experience building human-in-the-loop workflows, implementing AI guardrails and responsible AI practices and establishing observability for AI systems through tracing, evaluation and cost monitoring. His broader technical expertise includes microservices, Node.js, TypeScript, Python, MongoDB, Redis, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Docker, Kubernetes and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD). He also has experience leading engineering teams, managing client and stakeholder relationships and owning end-to-end technology delivery. 

Prior to Portage Point, Vishu served as a Lead Software Engineer at Kellton Tech, where he led AI initiatives on an enterprise-grade agentic platform and contributed to the architecture and development of scalable microservices platforms. He built LLM-powered agents, RAG pipelines, custom MCP servers and modular inference services while establishing reusable engineering standards and centralized observability. Earlier, as a Full Stack Developer at Dhwani Rural Information System, he led the end-to-end delivery of a government web application and managed and mentored a 10-person development team while working directly with government stakeholders. 

Vishu holds a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Engineering Physics with a major in Robotics from Delhi Technological University (formerly Delhi College of Engineering).
