Vernon Vasquez

Vernon Vasquez is a Senior Vice President at Portage Point Partners based in New York. He has more than 15 years of experience guiding companies through mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and capital raising efforts as both Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and advisor.

Prior to Portage Point, Vernon served as Co-founder and CFO of EV+ Charging, a turnkey electric vehicle (EV) charging company. As CFO, Vernon helped develop the company’s subscription and usage-based service offerings, drove partnerships with CBRE and Tesla, completed multiple audits and raised equity capital.

Prior to EV+ Charging, Vernon was the Head of Finance and Treasurer at Noblr Inc., an insurance technology carrier. In that role, Vernon was responsible for strategic initiatives, financial planning and analysis, cash flow management and capital raising, which contributed to the successful sale to USAA.

Before joining Noblr Inc., Vernon worked in the mergers and acquisitions group at J.P. Morgan where he advised corporate and financial sponsor clients on more than $75 billion in closed transactions. He began his career in the real estate credit products group at Bank of America.

Vernon earned a Bachelor of Science in Corporate Finance and Accounting from Bentley University and received his Master of Science in Finance from Bentley University’s McCallum Graduate School of Business.
