Tyler Rainey

Tyler Rainey is a Director in the Performance Improvement Practice at Portage Point Partners in the Dallas office. Tyler specializes in providing middle market companies with strategic, operational and financial advice to accelerate growth and improve profit margins.

With nearly 15 years of experience as a consultant and operator, Tyler has a strong track record of driving value creation across large cap and middle market companies, having driven over $700 million of EBITDA improvement for clients. He has extensive experience leading cross-functional transformations to improve go-to-market models and drive organizational and operational efficiencies. Tyler works alongside investors, C-suite executives and functional leaders to deliver measurable results. His industry expertise spans pharmaceuticals, medical devices, healthcare and consumer products.

Prior to Portage Point, Tyler was the US Chief of Staff at Galderma, the world’s largest independent dermatology company, where he was responsible for cross-business unit commercial strategy, budget development, new product launches and cost savings programs. As a member of the US leadership team, Tyler played an instrumental role in Galderma’s successful 2024 IPO. Previously, Tyler worked at Deloitte Consulting for a decade, where he focused on mergers, acquisitions and value creation.

Tyler earned a Master of Business Administration from The Fuqua School of Business at Duke University. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from Southern Methodist University.
