Tessa Newland

Tessa Newland is a Vice President of Delivery Excellence at Portage Point Partners. She leads initiatives focused on driving engagement quality, consistency and operational rigor across all practice lines and capabilities.

Tessa brings expertise spanning operational transformation, program management and financial advisory. She has led enterprise-wide initiatives to optimize organizational structures, improve cost efficiency and develop data-driven decision tools in industrial, financial services and healthcare sectors.

Prior to Portage Point, Tessa was a consultant at Boston Consulting Group where she focused on strategic turnarounds and operational transformations. Previously, Tessa served as Associate Director at Standard Chartered Bank in New York, advising corporate clients on foreign exchange and interest rate risk management. Earlier in her career, she held roles with Credit Agricole CIB, Mizuho Bank and Royal Bank of Scotland, supporting corporate and investment banking clients.

Tessa earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and International Studies from Miami University.
