Scott Thomas is a Senior Director focused on Debt Capital Advisory on the Investment Banking Team at Portage Point Partners in Dallas.
Scott has nearly 15 years of investment banking experience and has spent more than a decade in leveraged finance advising private, public and sponsor-backed clients on raising capital to support refinancings, recapitalizations, leveraged-buyouts, acquisitions and other growth initiatives. His experience includes asset-based and cash flow financing as well as structured capital solutions.
Prior to joining Portage Point, Scott was a Senior Vice President in the Debt Capital Markets Group at Stephens Inc. where he provided debt advisory services to companies across a diverse range of industries including industrials, transportation and logistics, energy, media, technology and consumer. Before joining the Debt Capital Markets Group, Scott began his career at Stephens as an Analyst supporting the Industrial Distribution and Specialty Finance Teams across a variety of M&A and capital raising transactions.
Scott earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the Williams School of Commerce, Economics and Politics at Washington and Lee University.
