Samantha Furtzaig serves as Vice President, Talent Acquisition at Portage Point Partners, where she is responsible for driving the firm’s talent strategy and recruitment efforts from the New York office. Working in close partnership with senior leadership, she oversees the identification, attraction, and hiring of high-caliber professionals across the organization. Samantha brings more than six years of talent acquisition experience, with a specialized focus on financial services.
Before joining Portage Point Partners, Samantha led recruiting initiatives at Prospect Capital Management, supporting hiring across private credit investing, real estate acquisitions, and corporate functions. Previously, she coordinated lateral recruitment efforts across multiple global business lines at Cantor Fitzgerald. She began her career at BlackRock, building a strong foundation in talent acquisition within the asset management industry.
Samantha holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Social Interaction from the State University of New York at Oswego.
