Robert Albergotti

Robert Albergotti is a Managing Director at Portage Point Partners in the Dallas office. Rob specializes in interim management and advising companies during financial and operational turnarounds and formal restructuring processes. His primary areas of focus include business planning, treasury, chapter 11 administration, operational improvements and financial reporting.

Rob has more than two decades of experience advising companies and serving as a Chief Restructuring Officer, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Executive Officer. He has deep experience collaborating with boards of directors, C-suite leaders, employees at all levels of an organization as well as external stakeholders including lenders, regulators, customers and private equity sponsors to solve complex operational and financial problems.

Rob’s experience covers the full restructuring process spectrum including strategic alternative assessments, contingency planning, bankruptcy administration, post-emergence trustee, liquidity management and business plan development. He has served in interim management roles across several industries including aviation, retail, manufacturing, upstream and midstream energy production and oil field services.

Prior to Portage Point, Rob was the Chief Financial Officer at CHC Group LLC and was a Partner and Managing Director in AlixPartners Turnaround and Restructuring Services Practice.

Rob earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Virginia, Darden School of Business and a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Business from Lafayette College. He is a Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor and a Certified Turnaround Professional.
