Rob Wedinger

Rob Wedinger serves as Managing Director and Head of Transaction Advisory Services at Portage Point Partners in the Dallas office.
Rob has more than 15 years of diversified experience across transaction advisory, private equity and private credit origination, investment banking and audit advisory. His unique background provides a well-rounded perspective to his clients across a broad range of transaction types. He has experience with acquisitions, divestitures and restructuring transactions with deal sizes ranging from $5 million to more than $1 billion, with a core focus on middle market offerings in the $20 million to $150 million range.
Prior to Portage Point, Rob was a Director in the Transaction Advisory Services practice Houlihan Lokey, specializing in both equity and credit due diligence in a broad range of industries on behalf of private equity firms, private credit firms, corporates and hedge funds. Previously, Rob held roles as a Vice President at AEA Investors, Analyst in Leveraged Finance and Corporate Client Banking at J.P. Morgan and an Associate at KPMG in the audit practice.
Rob holds his Bachelor of Science in Corporate Finance and Accounting and his Master of Science in Accountancy from Bentley University. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Connecticut.
