Rebecca Herz

Rebecca Herz is a Vice President at Portage Point Partners in the New York office, where she is responsible for conducting financial and operational analysis, developing key performance indicators, supporting value creation initiatives, constructing 13-week cash flows, analyzing working capital assessments and assisting in the overall implementation of value maximization strategies.

Rebecca has deep expertise in transaction execution, financial and operational due diligence and portfolio company performance improvement evaluations. She partners with management teams to implement strategic initiatives, accelerate EBITDA growth and support successful exits. Her experience spans buy- and sell-side engagements, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A) processes, recapitalizations and integration planning.

Prior to Portage Point, Rebecca was a Private Equity Associate at ARCHIMED, a global healthcare-focused investment firm, where she was responsible for evaluating, analyzing and performing due diligence on new investments and supporting ongoing portfolio company management. While at ARCHIMED, she played a key role in the acquisition and post-close value creation for an innovative skincare platform, as well as the successful exit of a medical device manufacturer, supporting sale preparation, valuation analysis and deal negotiation.

Earlier in her career, Rebecca worked in investment banking at Oppenheimer & Co. and Edgemont Partners, executing M&A and capital raise transactions across the healthcare sector.

Rebecca earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering with a Business minor from Cornell University. She holds FINRA Series 79 and 63 licenses.
