Prashant Chhabra

Prashant Chhabra is a Vice President in the Artificial Intelligence Solutions team at Portage Point Partners in the Gurugram, India office. He specializes in applied and agentic Artificial Intelligence (AI), with a focus on building AI systems that are practical, reliable and built for real business use.

Prashant has more than 11 years of experience across consulting, financial services and insurance. He has built machine learning and AI systems for document intelligence, decision support and workflow automation, taking these solutions from design through to production. He has also helped organizations identify and prioritize their most valuable AI opportunities.

Prior to Portage Point, Prashant was with EXL, where he led the development of agentic AI systems for banking clients, automating complex operational workflows and improving decision-making at scale. Before that, he was with AXA XL, a division of AXA, where he built machine learning models to support risk assessment and improve decision-making.

Earlier in his career, Prashant worked across data science and analytics roles in financial services, building experience in applying data-driven methods to a range of business problems.

He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) and a Master of Science (MS) from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.
