Payton Fanning

Payton Fanning currently serves as a Senior Associate in the Dallas office, where he is responsible for conducting financial and operational analysis, supporting value creation initiatives, developing and implementing reporting capabilities, constructing 13-week cash flows (TWCFs), analyzing working capital and assisting in the overall implementation of value maximization strategies.

Payton has deep experience across finance, operations and data analytics to deliver successful client outcomes across engagements including IPO readiness, TWCF and financial reporting implementations, buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence, operational due diligence, restructuring, integration management and value creation.

Prior to Portage Point, Payton was an Assurance Associate at Ernst & Young. In that role, Payton served clients in the energy, financial services and waste industries. He was also a member of the firm’s Innovation Group where he developed and delivered data-driven process improvement and data visualization solutions to teams across a variety of industries.

Payton graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Financial Management from Mays Business School at Texas A&M University and is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Texas.
