Patrick Renstrom

Patrick Renstrom is a Director at Portage Point Partners based in the New York City office. With nearly a decade of advisory experience, Patrick partners with C-suite executives, finance teams, operating partners and sponsors to accelerate value creation and build scalable finance and operating capabilities. He focuses on elevating finance functions, strengthening operating discipline and advancing strategic priorities across planning, reporting, operational efficiency and working capital performance. Patrick has experience developing leading practice perspectives on CFO onboarding and 100-day plans, helping newly appointed executives quickly align value priorities and mobilize organizations.

Patrick has led finance transformation and value creation efforts across private equity (PE)-backed and public companies in technology, industrials, life sciences, healthcare and consumer products. His work spans finance and accounting process assessment and redesign, ERP and FP&A system enablement, reporting and analytics modernization, working capital improvement and operating model development. He is known for bringing clarity and operating rigor to fast-moving environments, fostering accountability and enabling teams to deliver measurable performance improvements across people, processes, systems and data.

Prior to Portage Point, Patrick was a Director at Accordion, where he led finance modernization and enterprise transformation programs including capability assessments, operating model design and process automation initiatives. Earlier in his career, he spent more than six years in PwC’s Finance Transformation practice advising Fortune 500 and PE-backed clients on finance processes, technology enablement and organizational design. Patrick began his career at John Hancock through the Finance Rotational Program, gaining cross-functional experience across core finance and accounting disciplines.

Patrick earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Bentley University and is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Massachusetts.
