Parul Pubbi

Parul Pubbi is a Vice President for Portage Point Partners based in the Chicago office. Her primary responsibilities include conducting financial and operational analyses, developing key performance indicators, constructing 13-week cash flows, analyzing working capital optimization opportunities and assisting in the generation and execution of value creation strategies.

Prior to Portage Point, Parul was a Senior Associate in private equity at the Riverside Company, where she focused on providing in-court and out-of-court restructuring capital solutions for middle market companies. Parul led third party due diligence streams, transaction structuring and capital raises for two platform acquisitions. During her tenure at Riverside, she worked closely with shareholders to construct detailed site-by-site budgets, liquidity assessments and value creation plans based on transaction-level sales detail and general ledger reviews.

Before her role at Riverside, Parul held investment positions with Genstar Capital and HPS Investment Partners. In these roles, she was responsible for leading due diligence workstreams, building comprehensive valuation models to support investment decisions across debt and equity, coordinating across shareholders and executing add-on acquisitions. Over her tenure, Parul deployed $2.8 billion across six transactions. She began her career in investment banking, providing advisory services for both M&A and capital raises at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Select transactions include sell-side advisory for a data analytics company sold to FactSet (NYSE:FDS), buy-side advisory for an asset management company acquired by a subsidiary of Blackstone (NYSE:BX) and recapitalization advisory for a private equity-backed insurance brokerage.

Parul holds a Bachelor of Science in both Chemical Engineering and Business, Economics and Management from the California Institute of Technology.
