Nimesh Patel

Nimesh Patel currently serves as a Senior Associate at Portage Point Partners in the New York office. Nimesh is responsible for conducting financial and operational analysis, developing key performance indicators, supporting value creation initiatives, constructing 13-week cash flows, analyzing working capital assessments and assisting in the overall implementation of value maximization strategies.

Prior to Portage Point, Nimesh was an Associate on the investment team at Stone Point Capital. At Stone Point he was responsible for investment underwriting, transaction diligence and execution and portfolio company management across the firm’s credit platform. Nimesh also invested in public and private credit across financial services, business services, healthcare services and software.

Previously, Nimesh was an Investment Banking Analyst in the Media & Communications Group at J.P. Morgan, where he advised corporate clients and financial sponsors on a range of investment banking services. Nimesh was also an Analyst in the Special Credits Group at J.P. Morgan, where he was responsible for managing the firm’s exposure to stressed and distressed credit through in-court and out-of-court workouts across sectors.

Nimesh graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin.
