Nick Mazza

Nick Mazza currently serves as a Senior Associate and member of the Transaction Advisory Services practice at Portage Point Partners. Nick is based in Philadelphia and has over five years of public accounting experience.

Prior to joining Portage Point Partners, Nick served as a Manager in KPMG’s Deal Advisory and Strategy practice. His responsibilities include advising financial sponsors and corporate clients in evaluating key deal considerations and optimizing transactions. At KPMG, Nick executed due diligence engagements for domestic and cross-border transactions ranging from $20 million to $2 billion. His expertise includes analyzing quality of earnings, assessing net working capital, identifying commitments and contingencies and implementing value maximization strategies. Nick has experience across a range of industries, including consumer products & retail, life sciences, technology, transportation & logistics and gaming. Prior to KPMG, Nick served within the audit practice at RSM which provided additional experience with financial reporting, technical accounting and the intricacies of business processes and controls.

Nick holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Accounting from The Smeal College of Business at The Pennsylvania State University. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of CPAs.
