Nicholas Vargas

Nicholas (Nick) Vargas is a Senior Associate in the Transaction Advisory Services Practice at Portage Point Partners based in the Chicago office. His primary responsibilities include analyzing quality of earnings (QoE), working capital and potential commitments and contingencies on sell-side and buy-side transactions.

Prior to Portage Point, Nick was a Senior Associate in the Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) Financial Due Diligence Practice at KPMG where he performed financial due diligence for private equity and corporate clients across a wide array of industries. He primarily focused on transactions ranging in value from $10 million to $1 billion.

Nick earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Mendoza College of Business at the University of Notre Dame.
