Michael Bonello

Michael Bonello is an Associate at Portage Point Partners in the New York office. Michael supports clients through financial and operational analysis, the development of key performance indicators, 13-week cash flow forecasts and working capital assessments, as well as the implementation of value creation and value maximization strategies.

Prior to Portage Point, Michael was an Associate on the Private Credit team at Morgan Stanley, where he underwrote and conducted diligence on credit investment opportunities across the capital structure. His work included building financial models and downside scenarios, evaluating credit risk, preparing investment committee memoranda and monitoring portfolio company performance. Before that, he was an Associate on the Credit Solutions team at Crescent Capital Group. Michael began his career as an Investment Banking Analyst in the Leveraged Finance and Financial Sponsors groups at RBC Capital Markets.

Michael holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Finance from the University of Notre Dame.
