McKenna Velazquez

McKenna Velazquez is Vice President, Talent Acquisition at Portage Point Partners in the New York office, where she is focused on identifying and hiring best in class talent.

McKenna has more than six years of experience working within talent acquisition teams in the financial services industry where she is passionate about delivering a stellar candidate experience and building long-term relationships.

Prior to Portage Point Partners, McKenna spent time at Futu US where she recruited for internal operations, trading and execution, marketing and compliance roles. She spearheaded talent acquisition initiatives and processes and launched an internship program.

Previously, McKenna focused on hiring experienced talent in the Advisory and Equity Research business lines at Evercore Partners. She began her career in lateral recruitment at Prospect Capital Management.

McKenna holds a Bachelor of Science in International Trade and Transportation from the State University of New York, Maritime College.
