Krista Borzellino

Krista Borzellino is a Senior Vice President at Portage Point Partners based in the New York office. With nearly a decade of advisory experience, Krista serves as a trusted advisor to portfolio company leadership and private equity sponsors. She helps design and scale finance and accounting functions that drive value creation across the middle market. She brings expertise across the Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO), including controllership, technical accounting, finance transformation, close and consolidation, financial reporting, financial planning and analysis (FP&A)and audit readiness. She also serves in interim finance leadership roles. Her industry expertise spans healthcare, software as a service (SaaS), consumer products, e-commerce, real estate and business services.

Prior to Portage Point, Krista was an Associate Director at CrossCountry Consulting, where she served in interim finance leadership roles for private equity-backed portfolio companies and led finance transformation initiatives, including assessments, operating model redesign and process automation. She is known for bringing structure and rigor to fast-moving environments, enabling measurable improvements across people, processes, systems and data. Krista designed reporting frameworks and FP&A infrastructure, led ERP implementations and developed leading practices for onboarding newly appointed chief financial officers (CFOs) and controllers. She also developed finance and accounting roadmaps for portfolio companies and partnered with founders and sponsors to align on financial expectations and reporting cadence during pivotal transitions.

Prior to CrossCountry, Krista held roles across Deloitte’s Audit, Restructuring & Turnaround and Merger and Acquisitions (M&A) Transaction Services practices, where she led audit engagements and performed buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence for private equity investments.

Krista holds a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) and Graduate Diploma in Accounting (GDA)from the Smith School of Business at Queen’s University. She is a Chartered Professional Accountant(CPA) in Ontario, Canada.
