Kerissa Sheley

Kerissa Sheley is a Senior Associate at Portage Point Partners in the Los Angeles office. As a member of the Transaction Advisory Services practice, her primary responsibilities include providing tax due diligence and other strategic M&A tax advisory services.

Prior to joining Portage Point, Kerissa was a Senior Associate in KPMG’s State and Local Tax M&A practice where she participated in over 250 buy-side and sell-side tax due diligence engagements for private equity and strategic clients across various industries, including financial services, real estate, technology, entertainment, healthcare, telecom, energy, telecom, business and industrial services and consumer products. While at KPMG, Kerissa also executed projects related to tax planning and structuring, tax modeling and post transaction remediation efforts.

Kerissa earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Oregon and a Master of Business Administration and Juris Doctorate from Belmont University in Nashville. Kerissa is a licensed attorney in California.
