Kennedy Boyd

Kennedy Boyd is a Senior Associate at Portage Point Partners in the New York office, where she is responsible for conducting financial and operational analysis, developing key performance indicators, supporting value creation initiatives, constructing 13-week cash flows, analyzing working capital assessments and assisting in the overall implementation of value maximization strategies. 

Prior to Portage Point, Kennedy was a Senior Associate at Blue Marlin Partners, focusing on the business services, industrials and consumer sectors. In this role, she was responsible for evaluating and analyzing prospective investment opportunities, performing due diligence on new investments and providing operational support to portfolio companies.  

Previously, Kennedy was a Generalist Investment Associate at Harvard Management Company, where she was responsible for evaluating and analyzing direct and fund-of-funds opportunities, with a focus on seed and early-stage venture investments. Kennedy began her career as an Investment Banking Analyst in the Consumer and Retail Group at Wells Fargo Securities, where she advised clients on mergers and acquisitions (M&A), private placements and capital raises. 

Kennedy holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where she was a Joseph Wharton Fellow and Catherine D. Sharpe Fellow. During business school, Kennedy was selected as a Wharton Impact Investment Fellow, investing in education companies through a student-led venture fund. She also holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in International Business (Summa Cum Laude), with a minor in Economics, from Howard University.
