Kathleen White

Kathleen White is a Managing Director and Head of Human Capital Management at Portage Point Partners, based in the New York office. She leads the firm’s human capital strategy and operations, shaping the talent, organizational and operating infrastructure required to support the firm’s growth, performance and employee experience.

Kathleen has more than 25 years of experience leading and advising organizations at the intersection of business strategy and human capital. Her expertise includes human capital strategy and transformation, mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, organizational and operating model design, talent strategy, workforce analytics, human resources (HR) technology and change management. She has advised senior executives through complex transformations and transactions spanning more than 100 acquisitions, divestitures, carve-outs and integrations. Her client experience includes Goldman Sachs, AIG and Pfizer, as well as leading private equity sponsors including KKR, Apollo Global Management, Apax Partners and Beringer Capital.

Prior to Portage Point, Kathleen held senior leadership and advisory roles with Vialto Partners, Johnson & Johnson, BASF, PwC, Pfizer and Deloitte Consulting. Most recently, at Vialto Partners, she helped build and scale the human capital function following the company’s carve-out from PwC, supporting more than 6,000 employees across 50 countries. Across her career, Kathleen has led global human capital initiatives in professional services, private equity, financial services, life sciences and industrials, with a consistent focus on translating business priorities into pragmatic, scalable people strategies and operating solutions.

Kathleen holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Marketing from the University of Connecticut and the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification. She also completed executive education in HR Management and Analytics at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
