Vice President, Delivery Excellence

JP Lauz currently serves as Vice President of Delivery Excellence at Portage Point Partners. In this role, he is responsible for creating, supporting and improving delivery capabilities while maintaining consistent high-quality deliverables. Additionally, he has a strong focus on establishing the infrastructure and standard operating procedures on internal operations from go-to-market through post engagement codification in effort to continue to foster growth and scalability of the firm. JP leverages extensive background in technology and operations to optimize the Portage Point tech stack and enable efficient growth.

JP’s experience includes digital systems implementation, operating model design, cost transformation and spend visibility, change management, process optimization, customer success and relationship management, call center operations optimization and loss mitigation management. He also, typically performs the translator role between groups (business to technical or across functions to standardize operations) and manages a broad set of stakeholder expectations.

Prior to Portage Point, JP spent two years in client delivery at McKinsey & Company. Previously, he was responsible for customer success at freight tech startup HubTran, Inc (now part of TriumphPay). He also spent a decade at Citi in a variety of roles within the operations and technology organization for the consumer bank.

JP has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Notre Dame and holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business with concentrations in Strategic Management and Economics. A native of Peru, JP is fluent in both English and Spanish and has used his bilingual skills implementing numerous technical systems and process across Latin America.
