Jeremy Selbst

Senior Vice President

Jeremy Selbst is a Senior Vice President at Portage Point Partners in the New York office. He has more than 15 years of experience partnering with management teams and stakeholders to navigate complex inflection points involving financial advisory, organizational transformation and mergers and acquisitions (M&A), offering a holistic perspective on the financial, operational and strategic levers that drive value for clients.

Prior to Portage Point, Jeremy founded Row Meridian Holdings, an acquisition holding company, where he spearheaded all aspects of opportunity sourcing, evaluation, underwriting and execution. In that capacity, he collaborated with executive and functional leaders to design and refine cross-functional processes, shape long-range planning and accelerate scalable growth.

Before founding Row Meridian, Jeremy was a Senior Vice President in the Strategic Advisory group at Rockefeller Capital Management, where he advised, invested in and partnered with operationally intensive middle market companies across buyout, growth, recapitalization and M&A transactions. He led full transaction lifecycles – from diligence and underwriting through strategic planning and execution – integrating financial analysis with hands-on performance initiatives. His work included enhancing go-to-market strategies, implementing institutionalized processes, optimizing capital structures and leading financial planning, improving liquidity management and cash-flow forecasting, developing capital allocation frameworks and preparing businesses for sale or financing.

Previously, Jeremy was a member of the Global Mergers & Acquisitions group at J.P. Morgan, where he advised on more than $125 billion in closed transactions. His experience included sponsor and strategic buy- and sell-side advisory, divestitures, carveouts, activism and defense situations, unsolicited M&A, cross-border transactions and complex structured considerations. He began his career in consulting with Charles River Associates in the Antitrust and Competition practice.

Jeremy earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with honors from Johns Hopkins University and received his Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
