Hunter Morrissette

Hunter Morrissette serves as Senior Associate within Portage Point Partners’ Transaction Advisory Services practice based in Atlanta, Georgia.

His primary responsibilities include meeting with founders and executives, building data models, authoring financial diligence reports, participating in deal negotiations and reviewing purchase agreements for strategic and private equity buyers and sellers. His industry experience is primarily in consumer goods, including retail / wholesale, industrial manufacturing, distribution, software as a service (SaaS) and professional services.

Prior to joining Portage Point, Hunter began his career with Deloitte’s Audit and Assurance practice contributing to client engagements of multiple Fortune 500 companies including integrated audits, carve-outs and acquisition integration / purchase price accounting. Hunter then joined BDO’s Transaction Advisory Services practice with a focus on advising middle market companies in mergers and acquisitions.

Hunter holds a Bachelor of Science in Commerce and Business Administration, specializing in Professional Accounting, and a Master of Science in Marketing from the University of Alabama.
