Gary Pivovarnik

Gary Pivovarnik is a Managing Director at Portage Point Partners in the Philadelphia office. As part of the Performance Improvement practice, Gary focuses on providing clients with performance improvement advisory and business transformation delivery services.

Gary has nearly 25 years of experience partnering with corporate and PE-backed organizations and has a proven track record of designing fit-for-purpose solutions and delivering high-impact EBITDA results. His industry experience spans private equity, consumer and retail, industrials and energy, with cross-functional expertise in operations, supply chain, global sourcing and procurement and logistics optimization. Gary has supported more than 100 clients leveraging extensive expertise across all stages of the business and investment lifecycle through performing value creation opportunity diagnostics, building complex business cases and leading execution of strategic transformation programs.

Prior to Portage Point, Gary was a Partner at Bain & Company and senior leader in the Global Performance Improvement practice. Earlier in his career, Gary spent time at AlixPartners and Kearney where he gained deep strategic operations and business transformation experience. His combined portfolio of client engagements and cross-functional operations industry experience spans end-to-end strategy development through full implementation to achieve value-driven results.

Gary earned a Master of Business Administration in Finance from the Fox School of Business at Temple University and a Bachelor of Science in Supply Chain Management from Pennsylvania State University. He also recently completed the Digital Transformation for Senior Executives program at The Wharton School.
