Francisco Echevarria

Francisco Echevarria is a Director at Portage Point Partners based in the Dallas office, where he advises healthy, underperforming and distressed companies on navigating complex and challenging financial challenges.

Prior to Portage Point, Francisco was a Director at AlixPartners, where he specialized in liquidity management, cash flow forecasting, business planning, working capital optimization, contingency planning and restructuring services. Notably, he led the implementation of a 13-week cash flow model and developed a comprehensive long-term business forecast for a medical apparel company with approximately $800 million in debt, facilitating its successful emergence from Chapter 11.

Earlier in his career, Francisco was part of the consulting practices at KPMG and PwC in São Paulo, Brazil, where he led cross-functional teams in conducting independent business assessments and implementing operational improvements across manufacturing, logistics, commercial operations and inventory management for clients in distressed situations.

Francisco holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and Economics from the University of Rochester and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Michigan.
