Senior Director
Eunice Strauss is a Senior Director at Portage Point Partners, based in the Los Angeles office. She leads human capital transaction advisory, transaction execution and performance improvement for private equity sponsors and corporate clients.
With more than a decade of experience, Eunice brings financial, operational and strategic expertise to help private equity sponsors and corporations assess, structure and activate organizational, leadership and talent capabilities across the deal lifecycle. She partners with deal teams, operating partners and management to identify people-related risks and opportunities, inform investment theses and drive value creation through human capital strategy, from pre-deal due diligence through sign-to-close execution and post-close transformation.
Eunice has advised on more than 200 global transactions ranging from $5 million to over $5 billion. She leads buy-side and sell-side human capital due diligence engagements, assessing workforce structure, labor costs, executive compensation, HR operating models, organizational effectiveness and culture. She translates complex workforce and compensation data into executive-ready insights and actionable recommendations. Post-close, she leads value creation and transformation initiatives supporting integration, separation execution and synergy realization. Her work has identified more than $100 million in purchase price adjustments, unlocked over $500 million in enterprise value and delivered more than $1 billion in run-rate savings.
Prior to Portage Point, Eunice spent nine years at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), most recently as a Director in the Deals practice, leading HR transaction services and value creation, advising private equity and corporate clients on human capital issues across transactions and transformations. She also led the development of the people and social dimensions of the firm’s sustainability-in-deals offerings. She began her career at Towers Watson (now Willis Towers Watson) as a pension actuary, advising private equity sponsors and Fortune 500 companies on retirement plan funding risks.
Eunice holds a Master of Arts (MA) and Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Economics, with a business minor, from the University of Southern California, where she completed the university’s Progressive Degree Program and graduated cum laude.
