Deepanshu Garg

Deepanshu Garg is a Vice President in the Transaction Advisory Services Practice at Portage Point Partners in the Gurugram office, where he advises private equity (PE) sponsors and corporate acquirers on buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence. 

Deepanshu has more than 8 years of experience across mergers and acquisitions advisory, statutory audit and cross-border assurance. He has led financial due diligence engagements for leading PE firms and corporates, with a focus on the healthcare, medical technology, pharmaceutical and industrials sectors. His work spans quality of earnings, net working capital and net debt analysis, cash proofs and financial databooks. 

Prior to Portage Point, Deepanshu was a Vice President in the Transaction Advisory Group at Alvarez & Marsal in Gurugram, where he led buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements. Before that, he was a Manager at KPMG India in the Transaction Services Practice. Deepanshu also served as a Manager at Jubilant Generics Limited in the Business Finance vertical, where he developed financial models, prepared board presentations and supported the preparation and filings for the demerger of a business undertaking. He has also worked in statutory audit at KPMG India. 

Deepanshu is a Chartered Accountant (CA) licensed in India and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).
