David Matyasovsky

David is a Director in the Office of the CFO (OCFO) team at Portage Point Partners based in the Philadelphia office. He has more than 15 years of combined advisory and industry experience, working closely with senior executives and investment teams to drive value through strategic finance solutions across the investment lifecycle.

David has deep expertise advising on financial performance improvement initiatives including financial planning and analysis (FP&A), finance operations, management reporting and key performance indicator (KPI) development. He also leads merger and acquisition-related efforts, including operational readiness, due diligence, transaction services agreement (TSA) development and post-deal integration.

David has provided interim finance leadership and driven improvements in strategic planning, management reporting and budgeting processes. He has built and led global business analytics and enterprise sales finance teams, developed revenue and earnings models and created long-range planning scenarios. Additionally, he has enhanced finance operations through improvements in FP&A, accounting processes, cash forecasting and operating model design.

David is experienced in planning and managing international carve-out and integration activities, implementing and integrating technology platforms and designing global business services models while rationalizing legal entity structures. His industry experience spans chemicals, industrial products, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, financial services and technology.

Prior to Portage Point, David worked in the Office of the CFO practice at Ankura. He also served as Director of Corporate FP&A and Global Business Analytics at a middle market life sciences company and was a Manager in EY’s Performance Improvement Finance practice.

David holds a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Georgetown University, where he was a Merit Scholar Award recipient and a Bachelor of Science from James Madison University.
