Christopher Rendón

Chris Rendón is a Vice President at Portage Point Partners in the New York office, where he is responsible for conducting financial and operational analyses, developing key performance indicators, constructing 13-week cash flows, analyzing working capital optimization and implementing value maximization strategies.

Prior to Portage Point, Chris was a Private Equity Senior Associate at Levine Leichtman, where he focused on investment due diligence, transaction execution and portfolio management. Previously, Chris was an Investment Banking Associate at Morgan Stanley in media and telecommunications, where he advised on mergers and acquisitions, IPOs and capital raising initiatives across debt and equity. Chris started his career in the Equity Research team at Morgan Stanley, covering consumer internet, where he was primarily responsible for initiating coverage on IPOs.

Chris leverages deep industry expertise across technology, media, telecommunications, industrials and healthcare. He brings deep knowledge of transaction execution, due diligence and portfolio company performance improvement, having collaborated closely with management teams to develop and implement value creation strategies, accelerate EBITDA growth, conduct liquidity analyses and support business model transformations.

Chris earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Stanford University.
