Brendan O’Kane

Brendan O’Kane is a Director in the Investment Banking practice at Portage Point Partners in the New York office where he provides mergers & acquisitions (M&A) advisory services. He has deep expertise in the industrials industry working with private equity and private and public company clients.

Brendan has experience delivering results across strategic acquisitions, sale transactions, divestitures, leveraged buyouts, debt and equity financings, recapitalizations and restructuring transactions.

Brendan has experience in a range of industrials sub-sectors with clients including James Hardie Industries on the acquisition of The Azek Company, BAE Systems on the acquisition of Ball Aerospace, Holcim on the acquisition of Duro-Last Roofing Systems, Quanex on the acquisition of LMI Custom Mixing, Malarkey Roofing Products on the sale to Holcim, AHF Products on the sale to Paceline Equity Partners and Springs Window Fashions on the sale to AEA Investors.

Prior to Portage Point, Brendan was a member of the Global Industrials Group at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Previously, he was a Senior Consultant at Capco and a Director at Morgan Stanley.

Brendan earned a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and Accounting from UCLA Anderson School of Management and a Bachelor of Science with a focus on Economics and Operations and Technology Management from Boston College. Brendan holds FINRA Series 63 and 79 certifications.
