Bob Guillen

Bob Guillen is a Director in the Office of the CFO practice at Portage Point based in Los Angeles. He has more than 15 years of experience across private equity (PE) investing, portfolio company operations, mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and corporate finance, including serving in interim and fractional Chief Financial Officer (CFO) roles at sponsor- and venture-backed companies. 

Prior to Portage Point, Bob was an Operating Partner at Charger Investment Partners, a lower middle market PE firm, where he served as interim CFO for various manufacturing portfolio companies. He led finance transformation, data warehouse and Power BI reporting, cash forecasting and a portfolio-wide AI initiative. Earlier at Charger, Bob was investment professional, leading diligence, investment execution and post-close value creation efforts. He also served as VP of Finance during the fundraising of the firm’s first fund. 

Prior to Charger, Bob also served as a fractional CFO at Launch Finance. Earlier in his career, he spent eight years at KPMG, most recently as a Director in M&A Advisory, advising PE sponsors and strategic acquirers on acquisitions and divestitures.
