Benjamin Barnett

Ben Barnett currently serves as an Associate where he is responsible for conducting financial and operational analysis, developing key performance indicators, supporting value creation initiatives, constructing 13-week cash flows, analyzing working capital assessments and assisting in the overall implementation of value maximization strategies.
Prior to joining Portage Point, Ben was an Investment Banking Analyst in the Healthcare Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) group at Cain Brothers where he provided M&A advisory services to corporate clients, health systems and financial sponsors across all healthcare verticals. While at Cain Brothers, Ben constructed operating models and performed valuations, including discounted cash flows (DCFs), leveraged buyouts (LBOs) and trading / transaction comparables and identified strategic alternatives for small- to mid-sized healthcare firms across multiple sub-verticals.
Ben graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the Olin Business School at Washington University in Saint Louis (WashU). Ben holds his Series 63 and 79 FINRA certifications.
