Adam Waldman
Managing Director
Adam Waldman serves as a Managing Director at Portage Point Partners, where he focuses on providing investment banking advisory services.
Adam has nearly 20 of experience in investment banking and asset management, with over a decade spent at Moelis. While at Moelis, Adam focused on recapitalizations, financings, restructurings and sales, both in- and out-of-court, across a myriad of industries. Adam spent considerable time at Moelis advising both companies and various creditor groups, which included significant time with official committees of unsecured creditors. Adam has successfully led the following key engagements, among others, including Buitoni Food Company, Appgate, Crafty Apes, Aegean Marine, Global A&T, Midway Gold, Allied Nevada, GSE Environmental and Centrus Energy. Adam has also successfully led key engagements representing creditors including Mallinckrodt (Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors), Intelsat (Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors), Murray Energy (Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors), McClatchy (Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors), Toys R Us (Unsecured Creditors Committee), AAC Holdings (ad hoc group), Sears (secured creditor), ModSpace (ad hoc group) and Horsehead (ad hoc group).
Prior to Portage Point Partners, Adam was the Chief Financial Officer of Assembled Brands Group. Prior to Moelis, he was an Analyst at Wexford Capital. He started his career in the Leveraged Finance Group at Citi.
Adam graduated from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at NYU and Cornell University. Adam holds his FINRA Series 7, 63 and 79 certifications.
