Rahul Gaur

Rahul Gaur is a Managing Director at Portage Point Partners in the Performance Improvement Practice, based in New York. He specializes in large-scale transformations for corporate and private equity (PE) clients, with a focus on the technology, media and telecom sectors. 

Rahul has advised clients across a broad range of standalone and transaction-driven situations, helping translate performance improvement opportunities into measurable enterprise value impact. His experience spans enterprise-wide EBITDA improvement programs, commercial and operational due diligence, carveouts, sign-to-close planning and post-close integration. 

Rahul also specializes in artificial intelligence (AI) – enabled value creation, both as a practitioner who brings AI-driven approaches to delivery and as an architect of new AI-powered products and services. These solutions help clients fundamentally redesign how they create and capture value in an intelligence-centric enterprise. 

Prior to Portage Point, Rahul served as a Managing Director in KPMG’s Deal Advisory & Strategy practice, where he also co-led AI Innovation for the Performance Transformation service line in the US. Prior to that, he spent more than five years at AlixPartners, delivering value creation engagements across a variety of industries in both the US and Europe. Rahul has also held senior leadership positions in industry in the business services and energy sectors. 

Rahul holds a Master of Business Administration from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
