Ethan Wilcox is a Vice President in the Performance Improvement Practice at Portage Point Partners based in New York. He partners with private equity (PE) and corporate clients to drive value creation and operational improvement. Ethan specializes in developing and executing value creation strategies, leading cost reduction, operational transformation initiatives, delivering sustainable EBITDA growth as well as transaction advisory and execution.

Ethan brings more than seven years of experience supporting PE and corporate clients from pre‑sign diligence through post‑close value capture including performance improvement initiatives for distressed companies. He has led and supported more than 40 engagements across value creation assessments, operational and commercial diligence and M&A integration and separation planning. Ethan specializes in technology‑enabled cost optimization across IT and R&D, helping clients drive bottom‑line EBITDA expansion while improving operational effectiveness. His experience includes leading more than 10 value creation assessments that identified and executed approximately $200 million in labor and non-labor cost savings as well as more than 30 technology, operational, product, software and commercial diligences. He has worked across a broad range of industries including technology, media and telecommunications, healthcare and life sciences, financial services and PE.

Prior to Portage Point, Ethan was a Manager in the Strategy Practice at KPMG, where he advised PE and corporate clients on value creation, technology cost optimization, operating model transformation and transaction‑related initiatives. His experience at KPMG spanned diligence, transaction planning and execution, post‑close value creation and enterprise‑wide operational transformation. Earlier in his career, Ethan worked at EY in an advisory capacity supporting internal audit and SOX rationalization engagements.

Ethan earned a Bachelor of Science in Information Management and Technology from Syracuse University. He is a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certified by the Six Sigma Global Institute.
