Karol Funez

Karol Funez is a Vice President and Human Capital Management Business Partner at Portage Point Partners in the Chicago office. Karol works alongside the Head of Human Capital Management and is responsible for supporting Human Resources (HR) activities for the firm, including performance management, immigration, team member onboarding, benefits and overall employee experience.

Karol brings six years of experience in HR with expertise in employee relations, talent management and global HR initiatives within the financial services sector.

Prior to Portage Point, Karol spent six years at LaSalle Investment Management, where she designed and led high impact programs in onboarding, talent development and culture initiatives for the Americas region.

Karol graduated from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign with a Bachelor of the Arts degree in Political Science and Communications.
