Jason Reed

Jason Reed is a Senior Director within the Performance Improvement practice, specializing in strategy, value creation and transformation across the technology and cybersecurity sectors.

Jason brings extensive mergers and acquisitions (M&A) experience, supporting both buy-side and sell-side transactions from sign-to-close and supporting in private equity (PE) clients on post-close integration and value creation initiatives. His expertise spans operational due diligence, carve-outs and complex integrations/separations, ensuring seamless execution across the deal lifecycle.

Jason has deep industry experience across financial services, aerospace and defense and technology, delivering tailored strategies and operational improvements that drive measurable results for clients in these industries.

Prior to Portage Point, Jason was a leader in the Technology Consulting Private Equity practice at Ernst & Young, driving transformational initiatives and value creation for large cap PE firms and their portfolio companies.

Previously, Jason was in the Transaction Advisory Services practice at Houlihan Lokey, focusing on buyside carve-outs and operational due diligence. Earlier in his career, he spent several years at KPMG leading IT due diligence for PE and strategic investors before transitioning into larger roles managing major integrations and carve-outs.

Jason is a retired US Marine, having served more than 20 years in various capacities within technology and program management. He holds FINRA Series 63 and 79 certifications.
