Ryan Mahlan

Ryan Mahlan is a Director in the Valuations Practice at Portage Point Partners in the Los Angeles office. Ryan has more than a decade of experience in the valuation and financial advisory services industry and plays a key role in delivering valuation solutions and transaction support across the investment lifecycle.

Ryan specializes in valuations for financial reporting, strategic planning and tax purposes, with expertise spanning private and public companies, complex securities and derivatives, illiquid assets and intellectual property. He has led complex valuation engagements for private equity sponsors and corporations across diverse industries and geographies, including North America, Europe and Asia.

Prior to joining Portage Point, Ryan was a Senior Vice President in the Corporate Valuation Advisory Services group at Houlihan Lokey. Earlier in his career, he was an Associate in the Economics & Valuation Services practice at KPMG.

Ryan earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting and Finance from Georgetown University. He holds FINRA Series 63 and 79 licenses.
