Avant Gardner Files for Bankruptcy

New York City live music venue and festival owner Avant Gardner filed for bankruptcy after it failed to re-open its flagship outdoor stage, the Brooklyn Mirage, following a costly renovation that’s encountered unexpected problems. Portage Point Partners has partnered with the Avant Gardner team to provide restructuring advisory and investment banking services during the company’s Chapter 11 case. These engagements are led by Jeffrey Gasbarra, Managing Director, and Jason Cohen, Managing Director and Head of Investment Banking, respectively.
