Coley Brown

Coley Brown is a Managing Director at Portage Point Partners, based in the Palm Beach office with more than 20 years of restructuring and turnaround experience advising debtors, secured lenders and unsecured creditors through both Chapter 11 in-court and out-of-court situations.

Coley has a proven ability to lead high-profile and complex restructuring engagements, serve in officer roles, provide deposition or testimony evidence, negotiate with disparate constituents, maximize value for stakeholders and navigate complex financial transactions.

Prior to Portage Point, Coley was at Huron Consulting Group where he served as Operating Managing Director. He provided extensive experience in financial advisory, turnarounds and restructurings, business transformations and §363 asset sales across diverse industries, including oil and gas, energy, retail and consumer goods, education and technology, banking and finance, telecom and aerospace.

Coley earned a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the University of Notre Dame. He is also a Certified Insolvency & Restructuring Advisor (CIRA) and has passed Level I of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) exams.
