Michael Egan

Michael Egan is an Associate at Portage Point Partners based in the Philadelphia office and a member of the Transaction Advisory Services practice. His primary responsibilities include financial due diligence, analyzing quality of earnings and working capital, identifying commitments and contingencies and assisting in the implementation of value maximization strategies.

Prior to Portage Point, Michael was an Associate in the Deal Advisory and Strategy practice of KPMG. While at KPMG, Michael assisted with financial due diligence procedures across a range of industries, including transportation and logistics, technology, media and telecommunication as well as professional services. His experience with transactions ranged between corporate clients and financial sponsors, with typical transactions between $20 million and $500 million. Previously, Michael served in the audit practice at Withum where he gained experience in financial reporting, technical accounting and the intricacies of business processes and controls.

Michael earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Delaware. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Pennsylvania.
